Abstract

|
Objectives : Gangwhal is the root of Ostericum koreanum Maxim. (family Umbellifeme) and a popular crude drug used to expel wind from the body surface, to remove dampness and to relieve pain. In this study, we compare and cluster the genes of 0. koreanum cultivated in Korea as Gangwhal for analyzing the genetic relationship.
Methods : RAP13 method
Results : Nam-gangwhal and Buk-gangwhal was present very similar polymorphic band with each Other.
Conclusion : Nam-gangwhal and Buk-gangwhal cultivated in Korea have very similar molecular patterns in genetic analysis such as RAPD analysis. Actually it is very difficult to distinguish its differences by genetic analysis.
